Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (EWST) is a healing technique that started life as a treatment for sports injuries. It can be used on major joints such as shoulder, elbow, hip and knee, as well as soft tissue injuries. Treatments are fast (approx 10 minutes per session), and the benefits, including reduced pain, can be felt almost immediately.
