Nicola is a highly qualified Chartered Physiotherapist with over 28 years experience of clinical practice in both the NHS and Private Practice.
Nicola studied physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University and qualified in 1995, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc Hons).
She has continued her education with post-graduate training and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy (Post. Grad. Dip).
She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Nicola has undergone postgraduate training in Pain Management and Acupuncture and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS).
She has extensive experience working as a Physiotherapist in the NHS and Private Medicine in the UK, the USA and Spain.
Nicola has worked exclusively in Private Practice since 2008. She established Killamarsh Physiotherapy in 2018.
Nicola has a teenage son. She is an animal lover, and previously owned a horse. She has 2 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys the theatre, socialising with friends and eating out.
Carol Wells BSc (Hons), MCSP, HCPC.
Carol is a highly qualified Chartered Physiotherapist with over 28 years experience of clinical practice in both the NHS and Private Practice
Carol qualified as a physiotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Physiotherapy.
Since then she has worked extensively in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, gaining valuable experience in sport, professional theatre, police rehab and both NHS and private sector physiotherapy.
Having worked for most of her career in Sheffield, she has worked with many GP surgeries and hospitals and has also worked as an upper limb specialist and more recently FCP (First Contact Physiotherapist), directly working in GP surgeries to help provide first contact physio advice, triage and referrals. She now works exclusively in private practice across the Sheffield and Worksop region.
Carol has attended a wide variety of post-graduate training courses, passing the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine membership exams and becoming a full member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Recently she has completed a foundation course in management of facial palsy and is excited to be now be able to offer treatment for clients with Bell’s (and other types of facial) Palsy at any stage of their recovery.
She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, which is the regulatory body for the physiotherapy profession.
When not working Carol loves to spend time with her family and enjoys theatre, good food, walking and skiing.
Ethan Knowles (BSc (Hons), MCSP, HCPC.
Ethan studied at Sheffield Hallam University and qualified with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
He has a range of experience with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders and takes a special interest in these areas.
He has worked and been involved in sporting areas since he was young. Involved in semi professional football and an assistant in a gym for many years.
Outside of work Ethan has 3 dogs and likes to play football and go to the gym. He also enjoys going on hikes and to the cinema.
Ethan is available to do home visits and evening and Saturday morning appointments.
